CONVOCATORIA A CURSO PARA ENTRENADORES Y COMISARIOS ELITE

HAVANA. As part of the development program promoted by the International Cycling Union (UCI), the Pan-American Cycling Confederation (COPACI) issued the calls for coaches courses to be held in Havana and Mexico, respectively, and the Elite Commissioners to host St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The course for coaches in Havana will take place between November 20 and 25, while the course for Mexico will be from December 10 to 15 of this year.

The Secretary General of the COPACI, Pedro Frías, adds that the course for Elite Commissioners in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will take place from 9 to 10 December.

The Pan-American Cycling Confederation, within the framework of the Fund for the Development of tThe International Cycling Union, call for the Coaches Course in the specialties of Track and Route, Level 1, which will take place in the city of Havana, Cuba and organized by the Cuban Cycling Federation, from the 20th to the 26th November 2017 and that will be developed in Spanish with simultaneous translation into English.

Interested candidates must meet the following conditions:

 1) hold a license through a national federation affiliated to the UCI.
 2) be presented by your national federation. The latter must present a candidacy file, signed by the president or his      delegate, comprising the following elements:

       - copy of an official identity document (passport, etc.).
       - certificate of activity as a cycling coach in your country.

3) Have a thorough knowledge of the UCI regulation.

Each National Federation may present one (1) official and reserve candidate. If the 15 candidates required for the course are not completed, the reserves sent by each National Federation in the order of receipt of the date will be chosen.

 The organization of the course will take charge of the accommodation, food and internal transport of the candidates, each National Federation must assume the cost of the transfer to and from Havana.

      - copy of an official identity document (passport, etc.),
      - certificate of activity as a cycling coach in your country.

The Pan-American Cycling Confederation, inside the mark of the Fund for the Development of the International Cycling Union, they summon to the Course of Formation for Commissaries Elite UCI in the specialty of Route.  The course will take place in the city of Kingstown, in Saint Vincent and Grenadines and organized for the Saint Vincent and Grenadines Cycling Federation, from the 9 at December 12, 2017 and that it will be in English language. 
 
 The interested candidates will gather the following conditions:  
1) To be national commissary, regular of a license through an affiliated national federation to the UCI.  
2) To be presented by their national federation. This last one will present a file of  candidacy, signed by the president or their delegate,  understanding the following elements:  
      - It copies of a document of official identity (passport, etc.), proving that the person has 25  
      years like minimum and 50 years like maximum during the year of the selection for the UCI.  
      - Activity certificate like national commissary, during the 2 years before the selection.  
3) To have an exhaustive knowledge of the regulation UCI.  
 
Each National Federation will be able to present to a (1) standby official and other candidate. In case that the 14

candidates are not completed that are required for the course, you will proceed to choose of the reservations that

sends each National Federation in the order of the receipt of the date.  The presentations of candidacies will be sent to the Pan-American Confederation of Cycling panaci@enet.cu before the 15 of November of 2017. 
 
The organization of the course will be made position of the lodging, feeding and the candidates' internal transport,

should assume each National Federation the cost of the transfer toward and from Saint Vincent and Grenadines.
