FERNANDO GAVIRIA RETURNS TO EUROPE THINKING OF THE TOUR OF FRANCE
BOGOTÁ. The Colombian Fernando Gaviria (Quick-Step), one of the stars of the world peloton will be returned to Europe on Tuesday and fully recovered from the injury that took him out of several races.
The Antioquian considered one of the great sprinters of the planet remains in Colombia for several weeks recovering from the spectacular fall suffered during the sixth stage of the Adriatic Tyrrhenian, which left him with fracture in the first metacarpal in his left hand.
Fernando Gaviria will arrive in Belgium to rejoin the Quick-Step while waiting for the programming of some competitions before making his debut in the Tour de France to be played between July 7 and 29 next.
