MEXICO CITY. A Mexican team will participate next year in the international event Tour of Cycling of San Juan, in Argentina, which will be attended by the best UCI class world teams, such as the Israeli Cycling Academy, where the Mexican Luis Lemus plays.

The Mexican Federation of Cycling (FMC), directed by Edgardo Hernández, announced that after the attendance of a national team in the appointment of this 2017, the South American organizers decided to invite the country back to the international event that will take from January 21 to 28, 2018.

In this year the National Team attended the 2017 event in San Juan, Argentina, where it had a good participation and left a good impression, both to the fans and the organizing committee, so the Aztec country was taken into account and has the opportunity to compete next to the best teams in the world.

To that competition will come sets like the Movistar of the Colombian Nairo Quintana or the Bora Hansgrohe of the world champion, the Slovak Peter Sagan, as well as the Bahrain-Merida, Emirates UAE, Quick-Step Floors, Trek-Segafredo, and Lotto-Soudal.

Next week the FMC will announce the names of the representative who will participate in the UCI category event. (
