TOUR TO VENEZUELA: JHON NAVAS IS IMPOSED ON THE SEVENTH STAGE, MATTEO SPREAFICO FOLLOWS LEADER

CARACAS. The local cyclist Jhon Navas (Subículo) has won the seventh stage of the fifty-fifth edition of the Vuelta a Venezuela, a 145.4-kilometer race played on Wednesday between the towns of Nirgua and Morón.

With a time of 3 hours, 14 minutes and 51 seconds, Navas prevailed in the arrival to Morón ahead of his compatriots Jesus Villegas (Governorate of Miranda) and Freddy Vargas (Dubois), second and third respectively.

The Italian Matteo Spreafico (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec), who put on the leader's jersey on Monday after winning the race, stayed one day ahead of the general classification of the Venezuelan round.

Spreafico has 1 minute and 16 seconds of rent on José Alarcón (Government of Miranda-Trek) and 1 minute and 44 seconds on Anderson Paredes (Movistar of Ecuador). Leonel Quintero (Government of Miranda-Trek) is fourth to 1 minute and 47 seconds.
