TOWARDS NEW GOALS IN 2018

It is about to conclude a year in which our great family of continental cycling has been a protagonist and driving force of the development of sport, not only in America, but also in many competitions of universal significance, such as championships and world cups in the modalities of Route, Track, BMX, MTB and Cyclocross.

A brief look at what has been done by our athletes, coaches, leaders, commissaries and activists allows us to see with singular eloquence what cycling means in the Western Hemisphere. Cycling, in addition to sport, is culture and tradition for our countries and their respective societies.

That vocation to reach the goal, regardless of the place, is a hallmark of the athletes of the Americas, examples of tenacity and fearlessness in the eyes of millions of sports fans.

Multiplying our efforts in the search of talents and remain united as the undisputed strength of our great family, with the conviction that we will achieve better results in the main events of the current Olympic cycle, are challenges that impel us to be more optimistic and sure of ourselves .

The Pan-American Cycling Confederation, together with the International Cycling Union and the National Federations of our continent, know the potentials that we still lack to exploit and where we are going. The goal is in everyone's sight.

Let 2018 be another year of prosperity for our cycling!

CONGRATULATIONS, DEAR FRIENDS!
