WOMEN'S TOUR: VENEZUELAN LILIBETH CHACÓN REPEATS VICTORY AND RATIFIES AS LEADER

BOGOTÁ. Ratifying her excellent conditions and her good moment the Venezuelan Lilibeth Chacón (Cycling Girls Team) harvested its second consecutive victory in the Women's Tour and was ratified like the leader, in a fraction disputed this Wednesday between Santa Fe de Antioquia - Cruce Bolombolo - Peñalisa - Salgar - about 103.6 kilometers.

The 'patriot' had no problem defending his yellow jersey after beating the sprint, the day in which together with his team managed to control the different attacks during the demanding tour. Paula Patiño (Coldeportes-Zenú-Claro) was second and Ana Cristina Sanabria (Best Bogota for All) the current champion was third. Laura Lozano (Merquimia) was fourth to 5 seconds.

Blanca Liliana Moreno (Team Proyecta) who has been doing an excellent season was fifth to 6 seconds. The Bogota is maintained with the aim of continuing the fight.

This Thursday will be held the third fraction between the towns of Andes and Concordia over 67.9 kilometers.

Juan Tito Rendón winner of second stage and new leader

Juan Tito Rendón (IND-Antioquia) alone was the winner on Wednesday of the second stage of the Vuelta a Porvenir and became the new leader. The day was disputed between the towns of Santa Fe de Antioquia - Cruce Bolombolo - Peñalisa - Salgar - about 103.6 kilometers.

Antioquia Juan Tito Rendón, who dressed in yellow took 29 seconds to Yeisson Casallas (AV Villas) and Camilo Castro (AV Villas), second and third respectively. Santiago Buitrago (Foundation Esteban Chaves-Bikehouse), who was displaced from the lead crossed the finish line to 34 seconds and is now in the General Classification to 20 seconds.
