MIDLAND, ONTARIO. The Pan American Cyclocross Championship was held in this city with the presence of cyclists from the American continent, who starred in the contest that had a high competitive level.
In the elite male category, the American Kerry Werner (Kona Maxxis Shimano-USA), followed by his compatriots White, Curtis (Cannondale P / B Cyclocrossworld-USA) and Driscoll, James (Mavic / DNA Cycling-USA), medalists of silver and bronze, respectively.
Among the ladies Maghalie Rochette (Specialized x Feedback Sports) successfully defended her title after beating Clara Honsinger (Team S&M CX), who finished second, and Rebecca Fahringer (Kona Maxxis Shimano), third.
The first two championship races of the 2019 Pan American Championships in Midland, Ontario, featured the Junior Men and U23 Men.
The president of the Pan American Cyclocross Commission, Brook Watts, valued as positive the contest held in this Canadian town.
