As part of the new communication strategy of the Pan American Cycling Confederation for 2022, this January 1, the new logo of the organization that will govern in the forward in all competitions.
Approved by the COPACI Steering Committee a few months ago, the logo leaves behind the previous one, which dated from 1991 and as explained by the communication team that was in charge of the elaboration reflects the mobility and the changes experienced in current cycling, according to with the most contemporary trends in graphic design.
José Manuel Peláez himself stressed that this is part of the 2026 Agenda “that we will present in the coming weeks”, while confirming that it continues to be consistent with the objectives of the campaign that led him to the presidency of the Copaci in March 2021 : MORE CYCLING, MORE COMMUNICATION AND BETTER GOVERNANCE.
Likewise, the highest cycling manager in our continent recalled that “this 2022 we will be celebrating the centenary of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI), which we will do in April in Uruguay, where our organization was born on September 24, 1922 “.
From now on, all road, track, MTB, BMX cycling competitions in America must use the new logo and for this they can contact the COPACI headquarters in Havana.
