The Colombian capital, Bogota, will host from April 10 to 14 the PKS 2024 Pan American Championship and rounds 3 and 4 of the PKS Latin American BMX Racing Cup, events that will be held at the Mario Soto and Carlos Ramirez BMX tracks in the capital.
This event is organized by the Colombian Cycling Federation and the Pan American BMX Commission (Copab), with the support of COPACI, the Ministry of Sport, the District Institute of Recreation and Sport (IDRD) and the Bogotá Cycling League.
The sports activity will begin this Wednesday, April 10, at the Mario Soto track of the Unidad Deportiva El Salitre, with training in the Walbike category (bicycle without pedals) aimed at children from 3 to 5 years old, starting at 10:30 in the morning.
In this same scenario, between 9:30 and 10:30 am, the confirmation of riders and the delivery of boards to the participants will take place. On Thursday, the Walkbike competitions will be held between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
That same day, the activity will move to the Carlos Ramirez BMX track located in the Parque Recreo Deportivo El Salitre, where the official training sessions in the Challenger and Championship categories will be held from 9:00 a.m. onwards.
On Friday, official training sessions will be held between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, while on Saturday, April 13, the PKS 2024 Pan American Championship will be held at the Carlos Ramirez track, starting at 8:40 am, in the challenger and championship categories. (It should be noted that the third round of the Latin Cup will be held simultaneously on Saturday).
Finally, on Sunday 14, the fourth round of the PKS Latin American BMX Racing Cup will be held, starting at 8:00 am.
