Brazilian para-cyclist Lauro Chaman accelerated again and climbed the podium of the second stage of the Paracycling Road World Cup, held in the city of Maniago, Italy, winning the bronze medal on Friday (17) in the time trial of the MC5 category. The competition runs until May 20 and gathers the best para-cyclists of today.

In addition to Lauro Chaman’s achievement, the Brazilian team also stood out with the para-cyclist Gilmara Rosario, who won the bronze medal in the WH2 handbike category. The representativeness and performance of the Brazilian athletes demonstrate the strength and talent of the national team on the international paracycling scene.

The time trials, held on the first day of competition, were marked by the determination of the competitors, which culminated in medals for Brazil. Now, expectations are focused on the endurance events, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday, where the Brazilian team will seek to maintain the good performance shown so far.
