This Wednesday the sixth stage of the 80th edition of the traditional Tour of Uruguay, a stage race organized by the Uruguayan Cycling Federation, was run and after 196.3 kilometers between Mercedes and Carmelo the Brazilian Magno do Prado Nazaret won.

The ACRD Cycling Team competitor from his country, three-time winner of this Vuelta Ciclista (2012, 2017 and 2018), crossed the finish line in the department of Colonia in a time of four hours, 20 minutes and 21 seconds, obtaining a bonus of 10 seconds.

The podium was completed by Argentine Lucas Gaday (six seconds bonus), from Dolores Cycles Club, and his compatriot Alejandro Quilci (four seconds bonus), from Club Ciclista Audax.

The overall individual classification is still led by Brazilian João Pedro Rossi, of Swift Pro Cycling. Second is the Venezuelan Liangel Linarez, of the Venezuelan national team, and third is Roderyck Asconeguy, of Audax.

The seventh stage will be run this Thursday and will join Agraciada with Durazno, in a stretch of 192.7 kilometers.
