Great victory of Bryan Coquard in the fourth stage of the Tour Down Under 2025. The French sprinter managed to be the fastest of a reduced peloton, after riding an undulating 157.2 kilometers between Glenelg and Victor Harbor.

The 32-year-old French sprinter, who finished third on the second day, beat Germany’s Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain – Victorious) and Ecuador’s Jhonatan Narvaez (UAE Team Emirates – XRG), who finished second and third, respectively.

In the general classification, Spaniard Javier Romo (Movistar Team) maintained the lead with a four-second advantage over Ecuadorian Jhonatan Narvaez (UAE Team Emirates – XRG). The podium was completed by Austrian Patrick Konrad (Lidl-Trek).

The breakaway of the day was led by Swiss Mauro Schmid (Team Jayco AlUla), Italian Giosuè Epis (Arkéa – B&B Hotels) and Dutchmen Ide Schelling (XDS Astana Team) and Taco van der Hoorn (Intermarché – Wanty), but in the end they were all caught by a reduced peloton 13 kilometers from the finish.

The Australian World Tour race will continue with the fifth day, the 145.7-kilometer queen stage, which will take the riders from McLaren Vale to Willunga Hill, in an uphill finish.
