Little by little the Colombian women’s teams are revealing their new signings for the 2025 season, which is getting closer and closer. Team Sistecrédito made official its third signing. It is the Chilean Aranza Villalón, who joins María Paula Latriglia and Diana Carolina Peñuela.
In order to have a more competitive roster, Sistecrédito added the southern cyclist, an experienced rider with a lot of international experience, who comes from riding with the Panamanian team Soltec Iberoamérica.
“Our next reinforcement comes from Chile and her name is Aranza Villalón, a world-class rider who will make us vibrate with her admirable talent. Aranza, we are waiting for you with open arms,” the team wrote on its social networks, announcing the international signing.
Villalón, 29, a native of Santiago de Chile, within her track record has been national champion in road and time trial in her country, has won UCI races, has won several stage victories in the Vuelta a Colombia with a title in 2019, and in the Women’s Tour of the same year.
Also, on several occasions Villalón has been called to the Chilean National Team, winning medals in the Pan American Road Championships, the Bolivarian Games and the South American Games.
