In an exciting finish, Cristian Camilo Tobar (Team Saitel) won he seventh stage of the Vuelta Venezuela 2024, after covering a distance of 131.4 kilometers over mostly flat terrain, in a circuit in Valencia.

The cyclist from Nariño, 28 years old, who was part of the breakaway of the day, won ahead of Venezuelan Samuel Quintero (Alicanto

Consulting Group-Lotería del Táchira) and Ecuadorian Alejandro Pita (Team Saitel), who finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

In the final kilometers, there was a very interesting fight, between the escapees and the peloton led by Team Medellin-EPM, in which the Nariño Tobar came out ahead, being the strongest to take a heroic victory after more than 100 kilometers escaped.

As for the overall individual classification, the Antioquian Walter Vargas (Team Medellin-EPM) remains firm in the lead,

escorted by his teammate Javier Jamaica. The podium is completed by Venezuelan Luis Guillermo Mora (Gobernación de Trujillo Orbea).

The Venezuelan round will end this Sunday with the eighth stage with a distance of 82 kilometers in Caracas, where we will know the Venezuelan Cesar Sanabria, last year’s champion.
