HAVANA. The Mexican Brenda Santoyo (Swapit-Agolico) won this Friday in the first stage of the Vuelta Femenina to Costa Rica, in a segment of 86 kilometers, while her compatriot Marcela Prieto and the Colombian Blanca Liliana Moreno (Proyecta-Ingenieros), They were second and third, in that order.
Santoyo was the protagonist throughout the journey and also won the mountain prize of the day in which second Colombian Blanca Liliana Moreno (Proyecta-Ingenieros) runner-up last year.
This Saturday will be the second fraction, a time trial of 14.6 kilometers. The race ends on Sunday with a circuit to 7 laps on 73.6 kilometers.
