The organizers of the Volta a Catalunya have announced another high finish for the 2025 edition of the race. It is the mountain of Montserrat, which will witness a finish for the third time in its history after those of 1960 and 1995 in the celebration of the Millennium of the Monastery.

This will be one of the most emblematic stages in the history of the Catalan race, one of the most prestigious in Spain and on the world circuit. The agreement has been made possible thanks to the support of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the Abadia de Montserrat.

Rùben Peris, the director of the Volta, is delighted with this final: “For the organization of the Volta, beyond the symbolism that the mountain represents, it is an important logistical component, since it is part of a UCI World Tour event that has a team of 800 people and numerous organizational vehicles, equipment buses, etc…. What is clear to me is that the images that will be left will travel around the world and will be remembered for their beauty and spectacularity”.

The arrival of public transport to the area will make it possible for many fans to access a stage that is expected to be spectacular with a finish that will look great on TV and even more live. Let’s remember that the Volta a Catalunya 2025 will take place between March 24 and March 30. It will be the 104th edition of one of the oldest stage races in the world.
