With only four days to go, Honduras has everything ready for the Central American Road Championship, which will take place on June 6, 7 and 9, with the confirmed presence of all the countries of this geographic region, with their most distinguished figures within the national teams.

The program has reserved for the first day the always attractive individual time trial, which will be 19.4 kilometers for women and 38.8 kilometers for the under 23 and elite categories, among men. The planned circuit will be in the municipality of Villa de San Antonio.

On the second day of competition, for the first time in these races, the team time trial will be held in the Dry Canal, between the municipalities of Villa de San Antonio and San Sebastián. The course will be 19.4 kilometers for women and 38.8 kilometers for men.

After a rest day, the cyclists will return to pedal on June 9 in pursuit of the podium of the Central American route. In the case of the women, they will ride three laps of a 28.2-kilometer circuit to complete 84.6 kilometers; while the men under 23 years of age will ride one more lap to total 112.8 kilometers. Finally, the elite will have the rigor of five laps to aspire to the throne with 141 kilometers of route.

On its official Facebook page, the Honduran Cycling Federation detailed that all Central American countries have confirmed their best riders for this event, where there will undoubtedly be a great show, with the support of the municipalities of LA Paz and Villa de San Antonio.

Likewise, the local federation thanked the Honduran brand @iaco.life “for providing us with the Champion’s Jersey for the Central American Road Championships to be held in Honduras from June 6 to 9”.  The regional cycling event will be broadcasted live by @labaikahn from Honduras and @crciclismo from Costa Rica.
