ANTIOQUIA. The Cross Country was played in the Junior category of the MTB World Championship held at Moint Sainte Anne, in Quebec – Canada; with excellent result for the runner of the GW Shimano Chaoyang Kixx Send PX, Jerónimo Bedoya.
Bedoya who came to make the best lap time of the Colombians in the relay test, knew how to take advantage of his exit in the second line, in the fourteenth position, to manage to face the 10 turns on a track characterized by its technical layout and great difficulty, before more than 70 rivals.
The 18-year-old cyclist from El Retiro Antioquia kept swinging between 15th and 23rd, with averages per lap of 14 minutes, finally reaching the fifteenth position with a time of 1:12:15, four minutes and forty four seconds longer than the test winner, the Englishman Charlie Aldridge.
Jerónimo, which ratifies the good process that leads from the hand of coach Héctor Pérez, where he has already managed to be South American Youth Champion, Pan American Runner-up and is currently National Champion; He finished as the Best Latin American in the final classification and added good UCI points.
