The UAE Team Emirates, announced in the last hours the renewal of one of its most important riders from the sprinters block, the Colombian Juan Sebastián Molano, who will stay for three years, until December 31, 2026 in the Arab squad.
“I am very happy to stay here for the next three years. The team feels like a second family and there is a special atmosphere between everyone. I feel that I have grown a lot in this team and I want to continue that growth in the coming years, ”said the boyacense in statements collected by his team.
The Paipano runner, who was run over last March while training in Belgium, is recovering from the injuries suffered. The sprinter, who is expected to return to action in the coming months, had two victories in the season, one in the fourth stage of the UAE Tour and the other in the Denain Grand Prix.
Juan Sebastián Molano won the Denain 2023 GP this year. “Molano is a rider that we have seen constantly progress over the years and he really finds his place in the team. We are confident that we will see many more wonderful things from him in the future,” said team principal Mauro Gianetti.
The 28-year-old sprinter from Boyacá, who has a total of 25 victories, debuted as a professional in 2015, with Team Colombia, then went on to the extinct Manzana Postobón team, to later make the leap to the top World Tour category hand in hand of the UAE Team Emirates, with whom he will be until 2026.
