BOGOTÁ. This Sunday the 15th edition of the Casanare Bicentennial Women’s Tour, which is organized by the Colombian Cycling Federation, ended.

The last fraction was a circuit of 15 laps in Yopal (Casanare), where 100 kilometers of route were finally completed. The winner of the day was the antioqueña Katherine Montoya (Avinal GW El Carmen de Viboral Indeportes Antioquia), who prevailed in a vibrant packaging after two hours, 14 minutes and two seconds.

Jessica Parra (Bogotá Best For All) took second place and third place went to Sérika Gulumá (Boyacá Raza de Campeones), both with the same time as the winner.

For its part, the Chilean and leader of the competition, Arantza Villalón (Avinal GW El Carmen de Viboral Indeportes Antioquia), arrived in box 25 but did not compromise her first place in the general classification and could celebrate her title in Colombian lands, after a cumulative 11 hours, 22 minutes and 44 seconds.

The subtitle at 1’07 »went to Bogota’s Camila Valbuena (Bogotá Best For All), who will be in the Tour of Colombia for Women with the new ladies team Evolution Fem Cycling League of Bogotá. Umba celebrates on the circuit and Jefferson Ruiz is the new champion of the Vuelta del Porvenir Casanare Bicentenario

This Sunday the 35th edition of the Vuelta del Porvenir Casanare Bicentenario, which is organized by the Colombian Cycling Federation, ended.

The final stage was a Circuit in the city of Yopal over 100 kilometers. The winner was Santiago Umba (Arcabuco Ing de Vías), who was on the run with four more runners. Umba celebrated for the second time in this Tour of the Future, after having imposed itself on the third fraction.

The Arcabuco rider, who has already been a stage winner in Vuelta del Futuro 2018, national interclub route champion and youth departmental route champion, needed two hours, 24 minutes and 10 seconds, to impose his power and win without problems over Juan Pablo Ossa (Boyacá Raza de Campeones) and Daniel Gutiérrez (Liciboy Zenu), who crossed the finish line in second and third place, respectively.

For his part, the leader Jefferson Ruiz (Boyacá Race of Champions), who did not release the first place since the second stage, arrived in the fifth box and did not put in trouble his title as champion of the Tour of the Future.
