HAVANA. The city of Panama will host the International Cycling Union (UCI) Seminar from December 3 to 5, in which the world body will present its projections in its fight against doping, the UCI DataRide system and the perspectives of the World Center of Cycling and its Solidarity program.
In statements to the website www.copaci.org, the Secretary General of the Pan-American Cycling Confederation, Pedro Frías Armenteros, announced that representatives of 33 national federations of the American continent have already confirmed their presence at the seminar.
Frías Armenteros added that in the context of the UCI Seminar, on December 4, the Steering Committee of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI) will meet in the Isthmian capital to analyze important issues of cycling in America.
Among the UCI officials who will attend the cycling forum are its general director, Amina Lanaya, and the director of the World Center, Frédéric Magné. (José Luis Basulto / Copaci Press)
