As the saying goes “whoever wants more can be bitten”. The Clásico RCN 2023 the ‘Duelo de Titanes’ will have a lot of mountains and climbers are already rubbing their hands so that this cycling event begins soon.

On Saturday, September 23, the RCN Classic will start from the beautiful city of Cúcuta. Read here: Geraint Thomas: “I will look for the podium and a stage in the Tour of Spain”

For this opportunity, the traditional ‘Duel of the Titans’ will recover several very emblematic mountain passes such as Alto de Minas, Escobero and Picacho, the latter at more than 3,200 meters above sea level.

They will repeat the Alto de la Línea and the Montañuela, which last year were protagonists due to the hardness of their ascent.

In the eighth stage, between La Pintada-La Estrella, the feared and iconic Alto de Minas will appear, after 122 km of travel, in which stages and races won by daring runners have been defined. After Minas, the cyclists will have to make a 21 km journey to reach La Estrella, category 3 mountain prize and finish line for the fraction.

The closing of the Clásico RCN 2023, in the ninth stage, could not have a more spectacular and demanding setting like El Escobero, in Envigado, with an individual time trial.

The broom is a demanding port with stretches of up to two digits of difficulty encloses a mystery. Without a doubt, it will be the judge who sentences this competition.

The newspaper El Universal will be present at the Clásico RCN with a special envoy who will designate this journalistic house in the coming days, just as it did the previous year.
