The penultimate day of the Pan-American Master Cycling Championship held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, reserved the road competitions, where the local riders took the best slice with six golds out of the 15 disputed in the different categories held through the streets of the quisqueyan capital.

Over the distance of 53.8 kilometers, the host cyclists Eladio Núñez (+ 70 years), Amelia Adames (30-34), Yanilka Vega (35-39), Juana Fernández (50-54), while in the segment The longest 107.6 kilometers won the gold Félix Adderlyn Cruz (30-34) and José Frank Rodríguez (45-49).

Two gold metals were also obtained by Mexico and Venezuela, while one per capita was obtained by Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. In the case of the Aztecs, the titles fell to Jorge Chávez (60-64) and María José Becerra (40-44); while the Venezuelans celebrated the first places of Carlos Daniel Ostos (35-39) and Rieje Giesen (50-54).

This continental event developed the circuit-route on Circunvalación and El Higüero avenues, in Santo Domingo, while the track events (on August 28, 29 and 30) were held at the velodrome of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center (COJPD ). The time trial took place on Thursday 31 at Avenida de la Salud (Parque Mirador Sur).

The engineer Rafael Tejada Martínez, president of the Master Commission of the Pan American Cycling Confederation, thanked all the organization carried out for the event and recalled that the Dominican Republic had hosted a similar event in 2009.
