The second day of the Tour of Uruguay was for Argentina with the victory of Elbio Alborzen (Sindicato Argentino de la Televisión) with a time of 03:47:15, ahead of Brazilian Kleber Ramos (Pindamonhangaba Cycling Team), who anyway remained as the overall leader after finishing second in the stage. The podium of the second day went to Alejandro Quilci (Club Ciclista Cerro Largo) with a time of 03:47:41.

Thus, the overall is for Kleber Ramos and the northerner is followed only 13 seconds behind by the Uruguayan Juan Luis Caorsi of Armonía Cycles, while the podium of the competition is held by Mateo Mascarañas of Club Náutico y de Pesca Boca Cufré at 16 seconds.

As for the Under 23 category, Mateo Mascarñas of Club Náutico y de Pesca Boca Sufre remained at the top by winning again the title of Best Under 23 in this stage, consolidating his leadership in this category that he had already obtained in the previous stage.

This Saturday will be run the second stage of the Charrúa round, which will start from Castillos, in which 173.9 kilometers will be covered to reach Maldonado. The Uruguayan round will end on Sunday, March 31 in Montevideo, when the successor of the Argentine Jorge Giacinti, winner of the last edition in 2023, will be announced.
