San José, Costa Rica – The second edition of the UCI CRC 506 Gran Fondo Costa Rica Santini extends its registration date until this Sunday, June 2, so that those interested and who have not decided to participate next Sunday, June 9.
Registration can be made at www.crc-506.com with a value of $225 plus VAT for the Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo distances, with distances of 127 kilometers and 82.5 kilometers, respectively. The route for the Gran Fondo from San José to Puntarenas and the Medio Fondo from Grecia to Puntarenas.
This event has been declared of Public Interest by the Government of Costa Rica, so different governmental institutions involved recognize the contribution of the event to public health and the promotion of sport.
The event is part of the world calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI) as the opportunity for participants to qualify for the Grand Prix World Championship Final to be held in Aalborg, Denmark in 2024. It also has the endorsement of the FECOCI (Costa Rican Cycling Federation) and the Costa Rican Institute of Sports and Recreation (ICODER).
With your registration each cyclist gets: official jersey of the event, international medal of the event, assistance stations, bib and helmet sticker, neutral assistance, timing, road safety, insurance, Red Cross assistance, attention to the cyclist at the close of the event, access to the fairgrounds, royalties from sponsors.
